Application Requirements

The dates, mechanisms and conditions for admission to the program are announced in August of each year on the college and university website

  • To enroll in a Master of Arts (credit-hours system), the student must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from one of the universities/institutes recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, with a grade of “C” ›› [C = 60% - 65%] At least, and fulfilling the other conditions set by the specialized scientific departments, which are announced before the beginning of the academic year.
  • Exempted from the requirement to obtain a good grade (C) ›› [C = from 60% - 65%] at the undergraduate level, students who hold a postgraduate diploma (specialization) in Arts (credit-hours system), with a grade of (C) at least.
  • Egyptian and expatriate students are exempted from the condition of obtaining a good grade (C) ›› [C = from 60% - 65%] at the undergraduate level, Egyptian and international students, provided that they study some of the courses proposed by the scientific department and approved by the College Council and approved by the University Council, provided that coordination is done Internal between advanced students, and in accordance with the capacity of the college.
  • To register for a doctoral study in the arts (credit hours system), the student must have obtained a master’s degree in arts (credit hours system) from one of the universities/institutes recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, with a grade of good (C) ›› [C = out of 60% - 65%] at least, in the specialization branch, and fulfilling the other conditions set by the specialized scientific departments, which are announced before the beginning of the academic year.
  • It is required for enrollment to study the Postgraduate Diploma (specialized) in Arts (credit hours system) that the student has obtained a BA/Bachelor’s degree from one of the universities/institutes recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, and fulfills other conditions set by the specialized scientific departments, which are announced before the start of the school year.
  • The Postgraduate Diploma (specialized) in Arts accepts students who have any grade at the first university level.
  • The competent scientific departments have the right to compel the applicant to study qualifying courses, the number and quality of which depends on the student's specialization, and the duration of studying qualifying courses is deducted from the study period.
  • The College Council may accept the registration of a student who holds a Bachelor's degree in a non-specialty after successfully passing a number of supplementary courses determined by the concerned department, provided that the cumulative average of these courses is not less than a good grade (C) ›› [C = out of 60% - 65%], and these courses are not counted as part of the program hours, and the study period for supplementary courses is deducted from the study period.
  • To be registered to study the Professional Studies Diploma (credit hours system), the student must have obtained a BA/BA from one of the universities/institutes recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, and fulfills other conditions set by the specialized scientific departments, which are announced before the beginning of the academic year.
  • The Diploma of Professional Studies accepts students with any grade at the undergraduate level.

Department Overview:

- Specialized Master of Arts Program: This study aims to develop research capabilities, scientific thinking and development in the branch, field and topic chosen by the student, based on the reality of the college’s research plan, using modern scientific techniques and methods, through studying a number of advanced academic courses and conducting academic and applied research, Through an integrated scientific thesis.
- Specialized Doctoral Program in Arts: This study aims to develop independent thought and the ability to innovate and develop, and then add new knowledge in the branch, field and subject chosen by the student, by following the scientific, technical and research assets specialized in a rigorous specialization, and deepening the research capabilities that were developed at the master’s stage Conducting academic and applied research, with a scientific addition to the specialization branch, through an integrated thesis, in addition to studying a number of specialized academic courses
- Specialized Diploma Program in Arts: This study aims to raise scientific competence in the applied fields of subspecialties in multiple branches, by studying advanced applied and scientific courses and participating in work teams to prepare applied projects.
- Professional Studies Diploma Program: This study aims to raise professional competence, in the fields of work in all branches of literature and social studies, through the study of applied courses and practical exercises. It could be in interdisciplinary.
