
General objectives of the course:
The student should be able to:
1. Identify the basic concepts and principles in the process of integrating people with special needs, educational housing programs, transitional programs, and adapting or adjusting curricula, and organize individual programs, determine the role of integration in psychological and professional rehabilitation for the development of the personality of children with special needs and meet their psychological, educational and professional needs.
2. Employ his skills for psychological and professional preparation, and the system of adapting and adjusting the curriculum in a unit or lesson to suit students with special needs, and determine his role in special education schools and integration schools alike, and use the available scientific databases to face the challenges and problems of educational integration with the best methods and strategies.
3. Deduce modern trends regarding the comprehensive integration process, and the relationship between integration and the educational process, and analyze the positives and negatives of integration, its importance and determinants of its success.
4. Participate in preparing an individual educational program for students with special needs within the framework of educational and professional integration, and employ technology to help integrate people with special needs.
