General objectives of the course
The student should be able to
Identify the principles and fields of special education, the concept, classification and characteristics of categories of people with special abilities and their teaching methods, and the ethics of the teacher of people with special abilities, and explain the methods of intervention to care for them.
Identify the appropriate educational strategies, activities and programs to employ his skills and field knowledge when teaching people with special abilities of different categories to meet their educational needs.
Analyze diagnostic methods to classify individuals into specific categories to evaluate the programs provided to people with special abilities in order to improve their performance.
Employ his professional skills and modern technological and social means to communicate with people with special abilities, participate with a multidisciplinary team to deal with people with special abilities and help them meet their educational needs, and accept people with special abilities of different categories.
