The course is aimed to build knowledge in fundamental laws of geometrical optics, their relation to the physical laws. It also considers the operation of optical components and simple optical systems. The course demonstrates the place of optics among other related courses. This course establishes the fundamental basis of geometric optics and the formation of the image in complex optical systems.
