This course aims to study the crucial role of enzymes in mankind’s challenges to use different types of biological systems for a diversity of applications. They are proteins that break down and convert complicated compounds to produce simple products. Enzymes are compatible, efficient, and proper products for many uses in medicinal requests, industrial processing, bioremediation purposes, and agricultural applications.

This course aims to study Environmental nanotechnology which is the application of nanotechnology techniques to reducing or preventing damage to our environment. The ongoing propagation of industrialization and urbanization processes involving transportation, manufacturing, construction, petroleum refining, mining, etc., deplete the natural resources as well as produce large amounts of hazardous wastes which cause air, water, and soil pollution and consequently threaten human public health and the environmental security.
