Applicants for admission to the Special Diploma in Education must fulfill the following criteria:
- Obtaining a professional diploma in education or a general diploma in education with a general grade of at least “good”.
- Successfully passing an exam in English Language and Computer Skills.
The special diploma in education is offered in the regular education system or the distance education system

The Special Diploma in Education is designed to scientifically prepare students (who have completed a Professional Diploma in Education or a General Diploma in Education with a minimum grade of "good") to enable them to understand the fundamentals of educational research in a specific discipline and to prepare them to be enrolled in a master's degree programme.
