Application Requirements
Applicants for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy for Teacher Preparation in Science must fulfill the following criteria:
- The student must have a master’s degree of Teacher Preparation in Science in the specialization granted by the faculties of education in the Arab Republic of Egypt or an equivalent degree accepted by the Supreme Council of Universities with a grade of at least (C+), or be a holder of a master’s degree in Science in the same field of specialization with at least a good grade from graduates of faculties other than faculties of education in one of the disciplines open to study at Faculty of Education, in addition to having obtained a general diploma in education from one of the faculties of education in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
- No more than five years have passed since he obtained a master's degree or an equivalent degree.
- He must fulfill the conditions of enrollment announced by the Department of Graduate Studies at the College and have paid the tuition fees approved by the Graduate Studies Committee at the beginning of the academic year.
- A graduate student may not register for more than one higher university diploma at a time without the agreement of the Council of Graduate Studies and Research, which is based on the approval of the College Council and the opinion of the appropriate departmental councils.
