يكتسب الطلاب خلال العملية التعليمية العديد من الخبرات التي تزودهم بقدرات على الاكتشاف والتطور والنمو المعرفي. وتتراكم الخبرات من خلال الأنشطة البحثية التي يقومـون بهـا متمثلـة في مهارات وأخلاقيـات البحـث العلمـي. ومن ثم يستطيع الطلاب وفق الخبرات التي يكتـسبونها تطبيق المنهج العلمي في دراسة القضايا والمشكلات الاجتماعية الراهنة، وتحصيل المعلومات من المصادر المعرفية المتنوعة تمكنهم من تصميم أدوات البحث وتطبيقها فى جمع المادة الميدانية، فضلا عن استخدام الحاسب الآلي والتكنولوجيا الحديثة فى أغراض البحث الاجتماعى. كما تواجه الطلاب العديد من المعوقات أثناء قيامهم بإنجاز الأنـشطة البحثيـة، ومحاولة إيجاد الحلول المناسبة له، وهذا من غير شك يؤهل الطلاب على إمكانية تطبيق الخبرات النظرية والمنهجية في مجالات الحياة العملية تمتد إلى حل مشكلات المجتمع والبيئة المحيطة.
During the educational process, students acquire many experiences that provide them with capabilities for discovery, development and cognitive growth. Experiences are accumulated through the research activities that they carry out represented in the skills and ethics of scientific research. Then, according to the experiences they gain, students can apply the scientific method in studying the current social issues and problems, and collect information from various knowledge sources that enable them to design research tools and apply them in collecting field material, as well as using computers and modern technology for social research purposes. Students also face many obstacles while carrying out research activities and trying to find appropriate solutions for it. This undoubtedly qualifies students for the possibility of applying theoretical and methodological experiences in areas of practical life that extend to solving the problems of society and the surrounding environment.
