This course will introduce the students to the major poets and poems.
The focus will e individual figures ,literary movements,themes and techniques.The central concern will be on reading the poems .explicating , constructing and logical interpretation based on textual evidence .. By the end of the course the students will have a full command of the poetry of the period, its context ,themes and techniques.
