Much of biochemistry deal with the structure, functions and interaction of biological macromolecule, such as as protein, nucleic acid, carbohydrates, and lipid which provide the structure of cells and perform many of the function associated with life. The chemistry of the cell also depend on the reaction of smaller molecule and ions. These can be inorganic as water and minerals elements. Minerals, serve as activators of complex biochemical reactions in most tissues.
