This course is dealing with agriculture, describing both human and environmental issues. Covering the physical environment, economic behavior and demands, social and cultural influences, and the impact of farming upon the environment. Exploring the wide range of factors which influence how agriculture and agricultural practice differ from place to place.

This course includes knowledge and understanding of the importance of animal and poultry production in agriculture in general, and particularly it focuses on specifications, potentials, and requirements of organic production of livestock and poultry.
The present course is incorporated in the curricula of Organic Agriculture Program - 3rd level.
