Enrolment options

In this course, aspiring candidates explore current theories of learning in STEM disciplines in the context of the Egyptian STEM Schools. Topics include Self Determination Theory, learning transfer, feedback and performance, growth mindsets, conceptual change, misconceptions, and advances in cognitive science. More than simply a general survey of theories of knowing and learning in the STEM fields, the primary goal of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to construct models of knowing and learning that will guide their own classroom practice.
