Application Requirements

Masters

• For a student to register for a master's degree in entomology, he must have a bachelor's degree in private or general science in insects with a grade of (good) at least.

Diplomas

1)    Diploma in applied insects

• Obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Entomology (general or special), or a Bachelor of Agriculture, a general division, or plant protection, or equivalent.

2)    Diploma in medical insects

• To enroll in the Diploma in Medical Entomology, the student must have a Bachelor of Science specializing in insects or a public or private animal, a Bachelor of Agriculture specializing in insects or plant protection, or a Bachelor of Human or veterinary medicine working in the field of disease-carrying insects or tropical medicine.

PhD

• To have a master's degree in science from an Egyptian university, or an equivalent degree from another institute recognized by the university.
• To carry out innovative research on a subject approved by the College Council for a period of at least two years from the date of the council’s approval of registration under the supervision of one of the professors or assistant professors, and one of the teachers in the department may participate in the supervision.
