Masters
- For a student to register for a master’s degree, he must have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in physics or computer physics, with a general grade of at least “good” and “good” in the specialty subject.
- For Biophysics: Obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics with a general grade of at least “good” and a grade of “good” in the specialty subject.
- The department council may allow students who have a bachelor’s degree in botany, zoology, entomology, anatomy and physiology, or biochemistry, or their double-registrations, to study for a pre-master’s degree in biophysics, from among those who have obtained a good grade at least in the specialty subject in the study Qualifying for one year and successfully passing the exam in the following qualifying courses, which are taught at a rate of two hours per week for each course, in addition to 6 practical hours per week throughout the academic year

- The department council may allow students who have a bachelor’s degree in physics and its double-enrollment to pre-master’s in biophysics from among those who have obtained a good grade at least in the subject of specialization, provided that the student attends a qualifying study for one year and successfully passes the exam in the following qualifying courses that are taught Two hours per week for each course in addition to 6 practical hours per week throughout the year.

Diplomas
- Obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Physics (general or special) for all diplomas.
- Or obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Nuclear Engineering) for a diploma in radiological physics.
PhD
- To have a master's degree in science from an Egyptian university, or an equivalent degree from another institute recognized by the university.
- To carry out innovative research on a subject approved by the College Council for a period of at least two years from the date of the council’s approval of registration under the supervision of one of the professors or assistant professors, and one of the teachers in the department may participate in the supervision.
Professional Master's
- Students who have a bachelor’s degree from scientific faculties (faculties: sciences / education / girls / medicine / dentistry / pharmacy / engineering / agriculture) with a grade of at least good are preferred.
- Fulfilling any additional conditions approved by the College Council and the University Council.
- Study at least two days a week.
- For students with a non-specialized background in chemistry and physics, students must pass complementary courses in the basic rules of chemistry, nuclear and radiological physics, and take a qualifying exam before joining the program.
