Application Requirements

Masters

• For a student to register for a master’s degree, he must have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in mathematics, mathematical statistics, pure mathematics and computer, or physics and computer.

Diplomas

1)    Diploma in scientific computers and its applications

• For enrollment in this diploma, the applicant must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from one of the Colleges of Science.

2)    Diploma in applied statistics

• To enroll in this diploma, the student must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the College of Science or the College of Economics and Political Science.

3)    diploma in mathematics environmental sciences

• To enroll in this diploma, the student must have obtained one of the following academic degrees:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Departments of Electricity, Irrigation, Industrial Engineering)
  • Bachelor of Science in Astronomy and Meteorology
  • Bachelor's degree in marine sciences

4)    General diploma in biostatistics

To enroll in this diploma, the applicant must be:

• Graduates of the faculties of science (all departments except mathematics in its sections)
• Graduates from colleges of agriculture
• Graduates from the faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry

5)    General computer qualification diploma

• To enroll in this diploma, the applicant must have a university qualification or a graduate of one of the recognized institutes in which the study period is at least four years after high school.

PhD

• To have a master's degree in science from an Egyptian university, or an equivalent degree from another institute recognized by the university.
• To carry out innovative research on a subject approved by the College Council for a period of at least two years from the date of the council’s approval of registration under the supervision of one of the professors or assistant professors, and one of the teachers in the department may participate in the supervision.
