Application Requirements

Masters

  • For a student to register for a master’s degree in science, he must have a bachelor’s degree in science, specializing in chemistry, with a general grade of at least “good” and a grade of “good” in the specialty subject.

Diplomas

  • Obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (general or private), and the student must have studied chemistry for four years

PhD

  • To have a master's degree in science from an Egyptian university, or an equivalent degree from another institute recognized by the university.
  • To carry out innovative research on a subject approved by the College Council for a period of at least two years from the date of the council’s approval of registration under the supervision of one of the professors or assistant professors, and one of the teachers in the department may participate in the supervision.

Professional Master's

  • Students who have a bachelor’s degree from scientific faculties (faculties of science/education/girls/medicine/dentity/pharmacy/engineering/agriculture) with at least a good grade are preferred.
  • Fulfilling any additional conditions approved by the College Council and the University Council.
  • Study at least two days a week.
  • For students with a non-specialized background in chemistry and physics, students must pass complementary courses in the basic rules of chemistry, nuclear and radiological physics, and take a qualifying exam before joining the program.
