The course aims to:

• To provide a basic knowledge concerning parasitological terminology, identification and classification of Arthropods and Protozoa.
• To provide the basic knowledge concerning classification, taxonomy, biology of Arthropods and Protozoa, and their life cycles and habitats.
• To give general knowledge of control measures, prevention and treatment of arthropods and protozoa infection in different hosts.
