Application Requirements

  • The student must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from one of the universities of the Arab Republic of Egypt, or an equivalent degree from another recognized scientific institute, in one of the English courses in the following academic councils: History, geography, philosophy, sociology, psychology, chemistry, physics, botany, zoology, general science, mathematics, home economics, archeology, media, commerce, agriculture.
  • Or from those who hold other relevant majors, as determined by the relevant department and approved by the College Council.
  • Success in the interviews and oral or written tests held by the college to ascertain his fitness to work in the teaching profession.
  • The student must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education or a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education, from an Egyptian university or one of the universities recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, with at least a good grade, or an educational qualification from abroad equivalent to the Supreme Council of Universities.
  • If the student wishes to join the educational technology major, the student is required to study and pass two compulsory complementary courses of 6 credit hours over two semesters, in addition to the courses prescribed for the professional diploma in education specializing in educational technology.
  • Pass the personal interview test according to the criteria set by the department council
  • The student must have obtained a general diploma in education in the specialization to be enrolled in from an Egyptian university with a general grade of at least “good,” or an equivalent educational qualification from abroad from the Supreme Council of Universities.
  • To have a professional diploma in education or a special diploma in education from a university in the Arab Republic of Egypt or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, and his rating in both the general assessment and the field of specialization should not be less than good with Observe the internal conditions of the departments.
  • The student is enrolled in the same major as he was in the Professional Diploma in Education or the Special Diploma in Education, and the student may change to another major after making a clearing that is approved by the concerned department and the College Council.
  • To have a master’s degree in education in the branch of specialization to be enrolled in from one of the universities of the Arab Republic of Egypt or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, and his rating in both the general assessment and the field of specialization should not be less than good.
