Mission Statement
"Preparing outstanding graduates specialized in the fields of language, literature, translation, papyrology, and archaeology. This is associated with the study of ancient European civilization and languages (Ancient Greek and Latin), that extend into contemporary languages (Modern Greek and Italian). Graduates are also prepared to be eligible for both academic and professional qualifications to meet the societal and employment demands across various fields, in accordance with professional ethics and scientific inquiry, as well as quality benchmarks. The program emphasizes the acquisition of knowledge and skills crucial for the development of graduates’ intellectual capabilities and research competence, aiming at openness to other cultures, which contributes to serving their own country."
