Application Requirements

Conditions for student registration for the Diploma in Information Technology and Business

• The applicant must be among the graduates of Egyptian colleges and institutes and their equivalent. His work is in the field of computers and information, as determined by the College Council. And conduct a personal interview to determine the scientific experience of the applicant
• As all courses are taught in English, it is necessary to obtain an English language proficiency certificate with a total score of at least 400 in the TOEFL exam and a condition to obtain it from within the university or accredited bodies such as AMIDEAST - and the IELTS certificate granted by the British Council, then it is certified by the College of Al-Alsun At the university (taking into account that its validity period is two years) or obtaining it from Cairo University.
• For graduates of a university outside the Arab Republic of Egypt or from private institutes, an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities must be submitted, stating the equivalency of his degree to one of the Egyptian colleges.

Conditions for student registration for the Basic Bioinformatics Diploma

• The student must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from one of the following faculties (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, science, agriculture) as well as the corresponding degrees from other faculties such as (Girls’ College, Ain Shams University and Faculties of Education) from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree It comes from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, and after conducting a personal interview organized by the Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University.
• Obtaining an English language proficiency certificate with a total of not less than 400 degrees and a condition of obtaining it from within Ain Shams University or the accredited authorities, or the IELTS certificate granted by the British Cultural Center, provided that the certificates are certified by the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University. A grace period can be granted to obtain an English language proficiency certificate during the first six months of study.
• For private institutes, students are accepted from the specializations corresponding to the above only if there is an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities that indicates the equivalence of their certificates in one of the Egyptian colleges mentioned previously.
• For any qualification obtained from outside the Arab Republic, students from the corresponding disciplines are accepted only if there is an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities that indicates the equivalency of their certificates in one of the Egyptian colleges mentioned previously.

Conditions for student registration for the Advanced Bioinformatics Diploma

• The student must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from one of the following faculties (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, science, agriculture) as well as the corresponding degrees from other faculties such as (the Girls’ College at Ain Shams University and the faculties of education) from an Egyptian university or Holds an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities and after conducting the personal interview organized by the Information Systems Department and the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University
• The student must have a diploma in basic bioinformatics from the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computers and Information, Ain Shams University.
• It is permissible to accept graduates of faculties of computers, information and engineering from one of the Egyptian universities or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities after conducting a personal interview (for graduates of faculties of engineering, they are accepted at the advanced level directly on the condition that they successfully pass a placement test In some subjects decided by the Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University) and they are excluded from the requirement to obtain a basic bioinformatics diploma.
• Obtaining a certificate of English language proficiency with a total of not less than 400 degrees, provided that it is obtained from within Ain Shams University or the accredited authorities, or the IELTS certificate granted by the British Council, provided that the certificates are certified by the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University. A grace period can be granted to obtain an English language proficiency certificate during the first six months of study.
• For private institutes and colleges, students are accepted from the specializations corresponding to the above and with the same conditions explained only in the case of an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities that indicates the equivalence of their certificates to one of the Egyptian colleges mentioned previously.
• For any qualification obtained from outside the Arab Republic, students from the corresponding disciplines are accepted only if there is an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities that indicates the equivalence of their certificates to one of the Egyptian colleges mentioned previously.
• Evening study from three o'clock until seven o'clock in the afternoon and for three or four days a week.

Conditions for student registration for the Diploma in Basic Business Computing (Basic Cloud Computing)

• To have a Bachelor’s degree in Computers and Information (or a Bachelor of Computer Engineering) from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. Graduates of new programs affiliated with the faculties of computers and information may be accepted from one of the Egyptian universities or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities and after conducting a personal interview organized by the Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University.
• Obtaining a certificate of English language proficiency with a total of not less than 400 degrees and a condition of obtaining it from within Ain Shams University or the approved bodies or the IELTS certificate granted by the British Council, provided that the certificates are certified by the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University. A grace period can be granted to obtain an English language proficiency certificate during the first six months of study.
• For private institutes, students are accepted from specializations corresponding to what was mentioned previously only in the case of an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities that indicates the equivalence of their certificates to one of the Egyptian colleges mentioned previously.
• For any qualification obtained from outside the Arab Republic, students from the corresponding disciplines are accepted only if there is an equivalency from the Supreme Council of Universities that indicates the equivalence of their certificates to one of the Egyptian colleges mentioned previously.

Conditions for student registration for the specialized diploma in computer game application development

In addition to the general terms and conditions contained in the regulations of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies with the credit hour system regarding the requirements for student registration for diplomas, the following conditions are taken into account:

• He must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computers and Information (or a Bachelor of Computer Engineering or a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science) from an Egyptian university or an equivalent scientific institute from the Supreme Council of Universities. Graduates of the new programs affiliated with the faculties of computers and information may also be accepted.
• Graduates of private institutes must bring an equivalency certificate from the Supreme Council of Universities stating the equivalency of his certificate in one of the faculties of Egyptian universities: computers and information or engineering with a specialization in computer or science with a specialization in computer science. As well as bringing the equivalency of any qualification obtained from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• Obtaining the TOEFL English language proficiency certificate with a total of not less than 400 degrees, and the condition of obtaining it from within Ain Shams University or the accredited authorities with a corresponding total, provided that the certificates are attested by Ain Shams University (must take into account the validity period of the certificate). A grace period can be granted to obtain the TOEFL certificate of English proficiency during the first six months of study.

Conditions for student registration for a diploma specialized in accounts and mobile application development

In addition to the general terms and conditions contained in the regulations of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies with the credit hour system regarding the requirements for student registration for diplomas, the following conditions are taken into account:

• To have a Bachelor’s degree in Computers and Information (or a Bachelor of Computer Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science) from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. Graduates of new affiliated programs may also be accepted. Faculties of Computers and Information.

• To have a Bachelor’s degree in Computers and Information (or a Bachelor of Computer Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science) from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. Graduates of new affiliated programs may also be accepted. Faculties of computers and information
