Application requirements

  • To enroll in a clinical master’s study, the student must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in oral and dental medicine and surgery from one of the dental colleges in the Arab Republic of Egypt or an equivalent degree (by the Supreme Council of Universities).
  • The student must have spent a year of compulsory training (internship). For international students, practicing the profession or training in a medical center or government hospital may be considered an alternative to the internship year, and the incoming student has the right to apply for a master’s degree directly in case he has spent the internship period.
  • The student must have a good general grade for the bachelor's degree. The student who holds a bachelor's degree with an acceptable grade may apply to study a professional master's if he obtains a postgraduate diploma in the same specialization.
  • Approval of the student’s employer for his enrollment to obtain a clinical master’s degree, as well as for the branch of specialization. The approval of the employer is also required for the student to devote the full-time necessary throughout the study period.
  • The student must submit an application including all the required documents in the name of the professor, the Dean of the college, within the period stipulated in the regulation. As for the expatriates, the rules in force by the regulations of the university’s expatriate management are applied.
  • Obtaining a clinical master's degree requires studying the credit hours stipulated in the regulations, with success in all courses with a grade of C at least and a cumulative average of no less than (2.44).
  • Approval of the concerned department council, and the registration is considered from the date of the college council’s approval of the final nomination for departments in accordance with the admission system approved by the college council.
  • Payment of tuition fees, training expenses and equipment consumption before the start of the study or according to the specified and announced date in the college, with the exception of scholarship students from Egyptians and expatriates, and the payment is for them during the academic year and before entering the examination.
  • The application for master's degree registration takes place during the months of February and March of each year
