يهدف المقرر الحالي الي التعرف على مبادىء التيار المتردد وكيفية توليدة وكذلك النظريات والقوانين المفسرة للظواهر الفيزيائية المختلفة المرتبطة بالتيار المتردد ودوائر التيار المتردد المختلفه ودوائر الرنين وكيفية معالجتها باستخدام الاعداد المركبة موضحا أساليب تحليل القياسات الفيزيائية والتجارب المعملية وأهم التطبيقات الحياتية لعلم التيار المتردد واخيرا كيفية تقويم التيار المتردد بدراسة دوائر التقويم ومقدمه فى دوائر الترشيح
