For the student to recognize the effort made by previous scholars to reach concepts that some consider simple, in addition to the student getting to know some numerical systems.

To familiarize the student with some real analysis concepts such as the real number system, sequences, and series.

That the student uses logical rules to derive new phrases with the aim of understanding the different numerical systems and training in problem solving.

That the student uses several approaches in dealing with mathematical problems.


The course aims to study algebraic structures known as groups. The concept of a group is central to abstract algebra: other well-known algebraic structures, such as rings, fields, and vector spaces, can all be seen as groups endowed with additional operations and axioms.
