In this course, teacher trainees apply the learning theory and research to the design of instruction with focus on deep conceptual understanding based on STEM education learning cycle, including the use of the backward design model and its main components, such as learning outcomes, ongoing assessment, outcome-based approach to learning, and how to use this course in planning units, lessons and daily practices.
