Dear students,

The continuous assessment marks are distributed on quizzes carried out in the clinical sessions in the following manner:

  • The best marks in 75% of sessions is given
  • you are allowed to miss 25% of the sessions without losing any marks
  • This percentage is decided based on the percentage required for attendance in practical sessions in your bylaws

Example for history and examination in year 1:

4 quizzes were carried out in 4 clinical sessions

students attending the the four quizzes will receive a mark equivalent to the highest 3 quizzes,

in case the student scored the whole mark in three quizzes, the student receives the 7 marks which is the full mark for continous assessment in this course

students missing one session but receiving the whole mark in three sessions will also receives the 7 marks

otherwise the student receives the highest three marks out of the four assessments.

Thank you,
