This course describes the origin of the stem cells, their types and conditions for differentiation into different cell types (induction of pluripotent cells), as well as the new avenues for research applications and their use in treatment of chronic diseases.
The aim of the course is to provide the student with a detailed understanding of the fundamental principles of molecular biology processes in eukaryotes.
Quality control aims to accomplish the following goals:

1- Ensure that the students have the necessary core knowledge and understanding of quality control and quality assurance.

2- Ensure that the students have the necessary professional skills to deal with the basic principles in the clinical laboratory.

3- Apply the principles of quality control in general and specialist area to be a way of their life.
The course lays the foundation for enabling the student to understand and apply genetic engineering in advanced specialized areas. The course also aims at enhancing student’s awareness of the scientific approach of rational experimental design, data analysis and interpretation which leads to advances in knowledge and new discoveries.
