By the end of this course, the students will be able to demonstrate the basic concepts related to:
a. Principles of nomenclature and classification of different phyla of invertebrate animals.
b. General characters of the main taxonomic units of Porifera, Coelenterata, Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca and Echinodermata.
