This course aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge of the crystallography and crystal-chemistry that govern the architecture of minerals at the atomic level and are responsible for their properties and stabilities. This course aims also to give students an understanding of the external and internal symmetry of crystals. Study the rock-forming minerals and the various properties of minerals.
