By the end of this course, the students will be able to demonstrate the basic concepts related to the Cell Biology and Histology of animals. In addition to principles of nomenclature and classification of different phyla and classes of invertebrate animals, morphology and biology of representative examples and general reviews of the main taxonomic units of the Protozoa, Porifera, Coelenterata, Platyhelminthes, Aschelminthes, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca and Echinodermata.
