Aim of the Course:

Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to:

Develop knowledge about different developmental disturbances that affect teeth as well as oral soft tissues, etiology, pathogenesis, histopathology and clinical picture of dental caries, pulp and periapical inflammations as well as different types of oral and para-oral cysts. 

Should also diagnose and differentiate between various oral diseases and correlate between clinical, radiographic and histopathological features of these diseases.
