This course provides the fundamental concepts and laws of chemical thermodynamics and their applications to materials systems, gases, changes of state, entropy and free energy. This course deals also to phase equilibria of one-, two – and three- component systems.
This course is designed to help students to develop a comprehensive
paleontological understanding of macro- invertebrate groups (phyla):
Porifera- Cnidaria- Annelida- Brachiopoda- Bryozoa- Arthropoda- Mollusca and Echinodermata
THIS COURSE AIMS TO DEVELOP A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING AND SKILS OF MINERAL OPTICS IN ORDINARY LIGHT AND IN POLARIZED LIGHT. OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF MINERALS UNDER CROSSED POLAR. CONVERGENT LIGHT AND INTERFERENCE FIGURES. UNIAXIAL AND BIAXIAL MINERALS. REVIEW THE OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF SOME MAJOR ROCK-FORMING MINERALS
