The student should be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge about Bacteria. In this introductory course the student should know bacterial diversity, structure, occurrence and their importance in our life.
Microbiology techniques are methods used for the study of microbes, including bacteria and microscopic fungi and protists. They include methods to survey, culture, stain, identify, engineer and manipulate microbes.
This course aims to allow students to gain knowledge of the microbial ecosystems, the role of microorganisms in ecosystem and demonstrate different methods employed in microbial ecology.
