Mission Statement

The Hebrew Language and literature program at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University is a scholarly program that aims to serve the society and its mission is:

  • Helping students become highly qualified, both scientifically and professionally in the fields of Hebrew language and literature according to the quality assurance criteria.
  • Enabling students to use and apply information technology to cope with the cognitive and technological developments and develop the research process.
  • Promoting the professional values, morals and ethics.
  • Stressing the national belonging and the national identity.



Goals

  • Helping students acquire knowledge, fundamentals, and skills of translation between Arabic and Hebrew Languages.
  • Helping students acquire knowledge and fundamentals of Hebrew literatures and different types of criticism to different written Hebrew texts that belong to different ages.
  • Helping students acquire knowledge and fundamentals necessary for facing the Zionist claims included in some Hebrew writings across different ages.
  • Helping students acquire knowledge and fundamentals of using and applying information technology for the utmost benefit in the field of Hebrew studies.
